We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Manager to join our highly regarded clients team. As thesuccessful candidate you will manage a team of five, overseeing the employee payment process for approximately 4,000+ UK and overseas
employees. This role is integral to their operations, ensuring the smooth implementation of salaries, expenses, relocation payments, and pension contributions. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be pivotal to supporting the business strategy
in this hybrid position. Day to Day of the role:
You will lead, develop, and manage the payroll team, conducting regular performance reviews.Oversee the payroll service to the pension scheme.Manage the expenses process.Provide cashflow planning forecasts.Design and implement a robust control environment to ensure data integrity and prevent errors or fraudulent activity.Prepare internal and external audit requirements.Be the expert for the SAP Payroll and expenses modules.Continuously review and improve processes.Develop and maintain a business continuity plan for key finance processes. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Payroll Manager within a large, complexorganisation.Member of the Institute of Payroll Management with in-depth knowledge of Payroll/PAYE policy and procedures, including international payroll.Strong experience in the recruitment, training and coaching the team development.Knowledge of a robust control environment.Excellent understanding of SAP.Exceptional written and communication skills.Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to organise a team to meet tight deadlines.Integrity and confidence in contributing to commercial discussions.Experience with SAP implementations, payroll migration, and/or change management is highly desirable.
