Page Personnel are currently recruiting for a leading life sciences business, based in Ellesmere Port, who are looking to recruit a Payroll Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. Working as part of a busy team, you will be responsible for processing end to end payroll for over 1500 employees.

Description

The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Processing end to end payroll on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis
• Performing accurate payroll calculations
• Coordinating overtime approval
• Query resolution
• Managing salary sacrifice schemes and third party deductions
• Ensure all payroll transactions comply with tax laws and employment standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate payroll reports and statements.
• Coordinate with HR and Accounting departments for payroll data inputs.
• Monitor and manage the company's payroll system.
• Perform audits and checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll data.
• Assisting in payroll related project work
• Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.

Profile

A successful Payroll Coordinator should have:

• A proven track record within a similar role
• A solid understanding of payroll and tax procedures.
• Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Office tools.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A track record of maintaining confidentiality and managing sensitive information.
