Payroll Clerk

Due to an increase in workload our client based at Daresbury Park, Warrington WA4 is seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk to work in a friendly team of 7.

Role;                Payroll Clerk
Rate;                £14.00p/h - £15.59ph  (rate equivalent to £27-30k)+ 33days holidays = 25days+8BH
Duration:           Initially 7 months (with a view to an extension - ongoing)
Hybrid role:       2 days office / 3 from home (37hr week) hours 9-5pm (flexible)
Parking:            Free

Main duties of the Payroll clerk:-

Managing and processing monthly payroll.
Dealing with and resolving payroll queries
Updating information for new starters and leavers
Handling information relating to:- maternity/paternity/P45’s/P60’s/student loans/pensions etc.
Dealing with required calculations.
Related ad-hoc duties as required.

Payroll clerk experience:-

Knowledge of payroll legislation
Able to work to deadlines.
Good IT skills – SAP knowledge useful however the client will give training.
Good communication skills

* Reside within easy travelling distance to Warrington

Holidays:-  Jan-Dec – 33days = 25days+8BH

Initial training in the office for approx.. 3-4 weeks then hybrid. Daresbury Park is off J11 / M56
