We are looking for a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join our team in our London, ON office. As a Payroll & Benefits Administrator, you will be responsible for processing payroll and benefits for approximately 600 employees in a timely and accurate manner. You will also assist with payroll and benefits related inquiries, reports, audits, and compliance. You will report to the Payroll & Benefits Supervisor and work closely with the other Payroll & Benefits Administrator. What you will do:Process weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payrolls for salaried, hourly and commission employees using Payworks software.Ensure payroll and benefits are administered in accordance with federal and provincial legislation, collective agreements, and company policies.Prepare and remit payroll and benefits deductions, such as WCB/WSIB, union dues, pension, etc.Set up new hires in the HR system, process terminations and update records.Enroll, update, and terminate employees in the benefits plan and liaise with the benefits provider.Respond to payroll and benefits related inquiries from employees and managers.Prepare and distribute payroll and benefits related documents, such as T4s, ROEs, paystubs, etc.Assist with payroll and benefits audits, year-end processes, and compliance reporting.Support the Payroll & Benefits Supervisor with payroll and benefits projects and initiatives.Maintain accurate and confidential payroll and benefits records and files.
