Payroll Assistant

Role: Payroll Assistant     
Location: Warrington
Salary: up to £30,000 p/a plus package

Are you ready to take the next step in your career in payroll administration? My client, who are a large Engineering contractor in Warrington are looking to strengthen their team with a Payroll Assistant, where you'll contribute to the efficient operation of our payroll department.

Key Responsibilities:

·Assist in processing company expenses through our online portal.
·Generate monthly expenses reports for review and analysis.
·Provide support to the payroll team with weekly administrative tasks.
·Efficiently manage and distribute payroll queries to the appropriate personnel.
·Respond promptly and professionally to general administrative inquiries.
·Aid in the weekly reporting and processing of sick pay.
·Collate payroll information for review and processing by the payroll team.
·Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls within the payroll department.
·Support the payroll team with various payroll administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

·Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Sage50 Payroll would be advantageous.
·Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
·Excellent time management abilities with an awareness of strict deadlines.
·Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
·Willingness to provide support across all aspects of payroll administration.
·Desire to grow and progress within the payroll team.
