Payroll Bureau Assistant Manager - Liverpool City Centre - £36,000 - £38,000 plus excellent benefits
Description:
A leading chartered accountancy practice, based in the heart of Liverpool City Centre is recruiting for a Payroll Assistant Manager.
Joining a busy and high-performing team, you will be supporting the Payroll Manager in managing the department and deputising in their absence.
The firm offers a first-class payroll service to a large portfolio of clients and they are looking for a competent individual to oversee their busy team, whilst managing a portfolio of complex clients.
The Payroll Assistant Manager's responsibilities will include:
·Supporting the payroll manager and deputising in their absence
·Day to day administration of large and complex client payrolls with no supervision, ensuring all deadlines are met
·Building relationships with clients and attending client meetings
·Extensive knowledge of pension auto enrolment
·Responsible for WIP management, debtors and assisting with credit control
·Involved in appraisals of junior team members of the team and providing training and support
·Monitor team development and highlight areas of improvement
·Manage deadlines for the wider team
