A varied position with lots of growth potentialExperience in working in the hospitality sectorAbout Our ClientThe company is based in London they provide their customers with event management and catering services.The Payroll and benefits manager will be based in their office in London.Job DescriptionThe Payroll and benefits manager position based in London will involve the following duties:Processing the payroll in house across all the companies' entities.Working with the outsourced payroll provider for bi-weekly hourly payroll and checking the payroll reports.Able to answer any payroll, holiday, pension, and benefit-related queries.Liaise with HMRC regarding tax queries and P11D'S.Deal with all the new starters, leavers, and changes within payroll.Process all statutory payments, including SSP, SMP and SPP.Be the first point of contact for employees for any payroll or employment queries.Process transactions relating to salary sacrifice schemes and company benefits.Oversee all administration and management of company benefits.The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate for the Payroll and Benefits Manager will have:2- 5 years' experience of working within payroll and benefits.Able to process payroll end to end.Comfortable working with outsourcing payroll provider regarding hourly payroll.Excellent understanding of UK payroll legislation and employment law.Excellent with numbers including working with manual calculations.A highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail.CIPP Level 5 Qualified or similar experience.What's on OfferThis is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package.The benefits package includes private medical insurance, cycle to work scheme and annual season ticket loan.
