This is a Fixed Term Contract for 24 months.
THE CHALLENGEThe Payroll Department at T2 is looking for a dynamic Payroll Cover Analyst to assist in all aspects of payroll processing and analytics, ensuring performance is maintained at efficient and at optimal levels. This role will support all payroll/tax activities for the UK and serves as a backup in the absence of staff support. .
WHAT YOU’LL TAKE ONPrepare off-cycle payment via direct deposits as necessaryAssist with Payslips and Tax document requestsAssist with validating terminationsChecking banking details, NI and tax changes and forms in payroll systemAssist with special projects as required and provide assistance where needed in the payroll department to meet volume or peak period needsApply garnishments to employee’s payroll deductions and ensure paymentsResearch and respond to routine HRBPs inquiries regarding payroll calculations and deductions; investigate issues and make appropriate correctionsPrepare pre and post audit reports each pay cycle for HR Partners to review and approveAssist team members in day-to-day data collection, preparation, and export of pay data files in accordance with the timelines outlined in the payment scheduleReview, audit, file and maintain payroll reports and documentsWHAT YOU BRING2+ years of payroll experience, including some experience with an HRIS/payroll system and related reportingDetail-orientated and self-motivation are essentialCommunicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writingBasic knowledge of an HRIS/payroll system & reporting. (e.g., Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP)Knowledge of MS office software; intermediate knowledge of Excel preferredAbility to maintain the confidentiality of employee records and informationPayroll tax theory, principles, practices and applications (Tax forms, Notifications, monthly & annual Filings…etc.)Strong team player, with the ability to work cooperatively with individuals at all levelsPossesses strong technical and analytical skills and can deal well with complexity and abstractionHandles multiple and concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment with little supervisionMakes decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlinesCapable of being well organized and command strong planning skillsProfessionalism, interpersonal skills and the ability to work with various personalitiesWHAT WE OFFER YOUGreat Company Culture.
