Package for Pastry Chef
Term time only, 36 hours per week over 5 days (plus 10 days)
Overtime available in case of events
6am-2pm
£16 to £17 per hour
Food and drink provided while on shift
Duties forPastry Chef
To work well in a team producing cakes , desserts and assisting with the main meal preparation for lunch service to 1000 pupils and staff
To produce food for service using fresh ingredients and cooking from scratch
Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled
Assisting with daily deliveries and the setup of daily events
Assist when necessary in the planning , compiling and costing of menus.
Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures and followed
The ideal Pastry Chef
Must have - Food and Hygiene level 2/3 ; Allergen certificate
Have at least 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef De Partie
Be Friendly, approachable, and professional.
Impeccable appearance/personal grooming.
