VIENNOISERIE PASTRY CHEF NEEDED FULL-TIME IN LITTLE CHALFONT



Are you a talented pastry chef looking to take your skills to the next level, or a senior pastry chef searching for a fresh opportunity? We are currently seeking an individual with expertise in laminating pastry, crafting croissants, and mastering puff pastry for a day role in our esteemed pastry department.



Responsibilities:




  • Lead the day shift in our pastry department, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency in all products.

  • Utilize extensive experience in viennoiserie, croissants, Danish pastries, tarts, cakes, and biscuit bars to create delectable treats for our customers.

  • Oversee the day shift rota, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet production demands.

  • Manage stock levels and coordinate the distribution of goods to our branches.

  • Collaborate closely with other team members to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.

  • Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.



Requirements:




  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, with a focus on viennoiserie, croissants, Danish pastries, tarts, cakes, and biscuit bars.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • A passion for creating high-quality pastries and desserts.

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.



Compensation and Benefits:




  • Salary: �32,000 to �35,000 per year (Negotiable depending on skill & experience)

  • Free parking

  • 28 days Holiday including bank holidays

  • Complimentary meals on duty



WORK TIMES




  • 5 days a week (including 1 weekend day, preferably a Sunday)

  • 42.5 working hours per week

  • 7am to 4pm (Including a 30-minute break)



STRICT REQUIREMENTS!




  • YOU MUST have at least 3 years of experience as a pastry chef.

  • YOU MUST possess expert skills in laminated dough, crafting croissants, Danish pastries, tarts, cakes, and various pastry techniques.

  • YOU MUST have reliable transport options to ensure punctual attendance at work.
