Remedy Education are looking for enthusiastic Pastoral Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated SEMH School located in Croydon, supporting pupils with SEMH/ADHD/Autism. This is a great opportunity, to help enrich and develop childrens lives whilst improving attendance and attitudes towards learning.
You will be working with an excellent team and joining a fantastic school where you can make a difference, playing a key role in the development of students.

Contract Details for Pastoral Teaching Assistant:

• Location: Croydon
• Position: Pastoral Teaching Assistant
• Type of work: 1:1 Intervention / Small-Group Intervention
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract type: Temp/Perm
• Full time/part time: Full-Time
• Minimum rate of pay: �100 - �110 per day

Experience, Training and Qualifications needed for Pastoral Teaching Assistant role:

• Previous experience in education is required, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this is not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.
• Previous experience working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous
• A passion for working with children with SEMH.
• Pro Active in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities.
• You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students.
• Level 3 Qualifications / ELSA Qualifications / Degree

To be eligible you must:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
