1st Select are working in partnership with a specialist construction company looking to add a passive fire surveyor to their growing team in the South of England.

Job Description

You will be required to:

• Complete fire door inspections


• Identifying areas of concern for Passive Fire Protection


• Identifying points for correction on fire door and compartmentation lines


• Writing reports on what improvements need to be made to ensure the Passive Fire Protection is compliant.


• Carry out compartmentation surveys and fire stopping

You will require:

• 3 years+ working in the Passive Fire Protection industry


• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in passive fire protection/safety


• Experience surveying both fire doors and fire stopping


• The ability to liaise and report to clients and tenants where required


• Hold relevant certifications, such as the Fire Door Inspection Scheme (FDIS) Diploma or equivalent qualifications in fire door inspection and surveying
