Passenger Services Assistant - Vertas Group Limited



Priory Special School, Bury St Edmunds Suffolk



25 hours per week, 38 weeks a year



Monday - Friday ; 6:30am - 9:00am & 14:30pm - 17:00pm



£11.44 per hour (Effective from 1st April)

Main Purpose of the Role:





We have fantastic opportunities for a number of Passenger Assistants to join our team. If you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and want to make the difference, then apply for this role today. This is a key role transporting and providing a taxi service for special educational needs children to and from school.





Responsibilities for the Passenger Assistant:





Assisting with the transportation of children to and from school

Ensuring the safe drop off of children on the school run

Experience within a passenger assistant/ journey role or similar 

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to remain calm in a challenging situation

 



Vertas is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and the successful candidate will be required to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service and declare any cautions, convictions, reprimands or final warnings which are not protected as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).
