The Opportunity: Parts Coordinator
Contract: Permanent
Location: Access Plus - Glasgow Depot
Access Plus is a powered access equipment hire company delivering specialist solutions throughout the UK. Access Plus joined the Briggs Equipment UK group in 2022 and have plans for growth over the next period. We are currently looking to recruit a Parts Controller to join our team at our Glasgow depot.
The Impact you will have:
Managing our parts department, including portraying a professional image to both our customers and our wider team
Sourcing parts at the most advantageous pricing, therefore increasing profitability
Keeping accurate records of purchase orders and following our approval process ensuring good governance is maintained
Process all parts orders as requested by back office and the Engineering team and record them on our IT system
Report to Engineering Management expected delivery dates for parts due in
Raising & receipting purchase orders efficiently and accurately on our IT system
Carry out quarterly parts stock counts and collate information for weekly hire fleet stock counts
Monitor stock, including location, min/max stocking levels and keep track of fast-moving parts, allocating to van stocks when required, enabling Engineers to improve on first time fixes and meet c...
