Parts Coordinator
Pertemps Stoke are proud to partner with a worldwide leading manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent. Our client is looking for a Parts Coordinator to join their established team.
Key responsibilities of this Parts Coordinator role:
  • Obtain and provide up to date, historical parts and assembly prices
  • Support the sales department with quotations
  • Allocate 20% of your time to prospecting for new sales opportunities
  • Identify potential clients and initiate contact to introduce the products and services
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the existing capital install base
  • Revisit clients within the capital install base and identify upselling or cross selling opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure seamless follow up on post capital
  • Take control of the spare parts business control
  • Ordering, progress chasing, arranging packaging for all parts
  • Completing freight and export documents for shipping
Skills required for this Parts Coordinator role:
  • Previous experience in an engineering environment
  • Knowledge of shipping/logistics and export is preferred but training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a can do attitude
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Must have a strong focus on business development
  • Must have a full UK driving license
