This role would sit within our Brand & Partnership Marketing team. Brief description and duties:
Collaborate with the Partnerships Team and the Creative Studio to deliver strategic creative solutions to existing commercial partner briefs. Draft concepts and ideas that are insight driven and aim to meet both Club and Partner objectives, whilst delighting and engaging Chelsea fans globally.
Present ideas through clear articulation of strategy, treatments, scripts, and overall plans. Be a leading force in creative development, and take ideas into execution, supporting on shoots and postproduction to ensure the output is of excellent standard.
Facilitate production of creative spanning video, photography, animation, and graphic design.
Collaborate with the Commercial and Marketing functions to support new sales briefs, including best in class creative strategy that sets the Club apart.
Support in the design and flow of sales decks.
Be the go-to expert on industry creative best practice, new activations and media types, and how we can engage our fans and partner consumers in innovative ways. Understand football culture, and the art of talking to modern-day fans across a range of different passion points that span music, fashion, entertainment, the arts, and gaming.
Regularly update key stakeholders across the business on any relevant industry activity. Constantly review the competitor landscape across key markets and providing updates to the wider teams and senior management.
Must Haves/qualified by demonstrable experience to the level required: Prior marketing and creative experience, preferably within Sport Experience leading internal and external teams Experience working with creatives; photographers, videographers, directors, DOPs, stylists, writers etc Experience working with agencies and freelancers.
Astute at working cross functionally to deliver projects Experience creating digital-first marketing and creative (campaign) strategies
Experience working with data/insight to create strategy and plans Skills and Behaviours:
Team player – being able to work with multiple teams to achieve a collective goal Excellent communicator with high attention to detail Able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders around the Club
