Part time Senior Accountant Position Overview

Self-Assessments and Tax Returns:

Lead the preparation and submission of self-assessment tax returns for individuals, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely filing.

Provide expert advice and guidance on tax planning strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities and optimize their tax positions.

Personal Tax Compliance:

Prepare and review personal tax computations and tax returns for clients, including sole traders, partners, and high-net-worth individuals.

Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, and address any tax-related issues or inquiries from clients.

Accounts Preparation:

Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for a portfolio of clients.

Review accounts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Corporation Tax Compliance:

Manage and review the preparation of corporation tax computations and tax returns for corporate clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Provide tax planning advice and recommendations to clients to optimize their tax positions and minimize tax liabilities.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for accounting and tax matters.

Proactively identify opportunities to provide value-added services and support to clients, addressing their needs and helping them achieve their business objectives.

Part time Senior Accountant Position Requirements

• ACCA, or ACA, or qualified by experience
• UK Citizen and right to work
• Part time work
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
• Able to commute once every 2 weeks or month to High Wycombe office
