As a Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support and guidance to students with SEN, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting SEN students with their learning activities, both in group settings and one-on-one sessions.
  • Implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and accommodations to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Supporting classroom teachers in creating inclusive learning environments and adapting curriculum materials.
  • Providing personal care and assistance, when necessary, to ensure students' comfort and well-being.
  • Collaborating with other staff members, parents, and external professionals to promote the holistic development of SEN students.
