Part time Security Officer

As a Security Officer atExeter Law Courts, Southernhay Gardens, Exeter, Devon EX1 1UH.The purpose of your job will be to monitor the security of the building and personnel at all times. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way. What you’ll do: Monitor the security of the building and personnel at all times at Exeter Law Courts.Meet and greet all staff, visitors, and members of the public in a professional mannerUndertake security patrols as requiredControl access to the buildingComplete daily logUndertake site security checks in line with the SLAWork with the courts to monitor and control parkingMonitor and record CCTV images in line with the Data Protection ActMonitor various alarms, fire, panic, disabled toiletsIssue security passes as required to court visitorsAct as a first line response to activations & incidents or fault reportingLog calls, relay messages and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors and staff What you bring: Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities Standard SIA license (CCTV preferred but not required)Excellent communication and awareness skills Experience in working in a similar role Knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures What we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance tobe part of something greater.
