Title: Part time Health and Safety Officer

Salary: �16 per hour, 25 hours per week (flexible)

Location: Howden
We are happy to announce that we are partnering with one of our existing clients who are now looking for a part time health and safety officer to join their team. A family ran manufacturing firm, dedicated to providing the best products using cutting edge methodology in a recently acquired state of the art production facility, they have seen success year on year since inception over 3 generations.

If you have experience as a health and safety officer within a production or manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain incident reporting and management action plans.

- Develop emergency procedures for the site and maintain records for the fire log book.

- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new preventative measures.

- Conduct risk assessments.

- Provide Health and Safety training.

- Inductions and toolbox talks.

- Update safe operating procedures.

- Lead monthly health and safety meetings.

- Maintain monthly and quarterly health and safety KPI indicators.

Required Experience/Skills:

- NEBOSH general certificate

- Previous experience in health and safety preferably within a manufacturing/production environment.

- Positive attitude

- Good computer/technology skills
