Part Time Finance Director (Renewable Energy)

A highly innovative Renewable Energy business with a pioneering technology have recently been through Series A funding and will be moving to Series B early in 2024. The business are looking for their first permanent FD, working on a part time basis, 4 days per week, building out the team as they advance through a period of significant growth. The role will involve advising of outsourced solutions to transactional finance, developing systems, working with the CEO on strategic direction of growth, including debt versus equity etc, and also looking at different revenue models.They company are revenue generating, with profit aimed from 2024, currently in significant scale up.The Role - (4 days per week)Ownership of accounting process for the company - building the accounting teamAttending board meetings and reporting into Chief Exec/MDFinancial analysis with particular focus on cash flowOwnership of corporate finance - particularly with regards to advancing to series B funding.Build relationship with senior stakeholders, presenting financial information to the boardOngoing process improvement and implementationBuilding banking relationships and growing business operationsThe CandidateA qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMASenior level experienceExposure to building banking relationships and broad investment strategiesExperience with raising financeDesire to work in growing business within the BioTech sectorHappy to work in tech type cultureThe opportunity will ideally be for 4 days per week, reporting to the Chief Exec/MD.
