Prospero teaching are recruiting for a part time computer science teacher at a secondary school in Stockport. The school need someone who is available 2 days a week for the upcoming academic year. You will also be required to hold QTS – qualified teacher status. The role will start in September and will be for the full academic year. We are able to pay to scale for this position from day 1 at a minimum of £143.58 per day. The ideal Computer Science teacher will be fully qualified, have a degree related to Computer Science and knowledge of the National Curriculum.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Hold a BA and PGCE in Computer Science
Confident with teaching the Computer science syllabus
Confident teaching general cover classes to KS3 & 4
Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
Innovative and creative teaching strategies and lessons
Aim to strive towards good and outstanding standards
ICT capable with interactive whiteboards etc.
Up to date safeguarding training, issued in the last year and is CPD accredited (essential, however we can provide training)
Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however we can provide training)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
UK classroom teaching experience
Eligibility to work in the UK
Be able to provide 2 professional references
A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
