Accounts/Office Assistant
(Part Time - Permanent) Around 30 hours per week
Dudley
Hourly rate: �12 to �13 an hour

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant, the person in the role currently is retiring and we need a dependable, friendly person to "fill her boots."
Traditional and well-established business that have been around for almost 200 years!
This is a role where "old fashioned" bookkeeping methods are still in practice, so we need someone that is comfortable with doing manual handwritten invoices and statements.
This would really suit someone that wants a comfortable job within a friendly family owned company.
Your responsibilities in this role:
  • Answer telephone calls and dealing with stock/price enquiries.
  • Written sales invoices and delivery notes
  • Calculating invoices
  • Checking delivery notes to invoices
  • Book-keeping records in manual ledgers
  • Monthly statements
  • Checking all purchase invoices
  • Email communication.
  • Scanning invoices and statements to customers
  • Chasing overdue payments
  • Check shop booking stock

Happy in a family sized company within a traditional setting
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 09.00am to 4.30pm
Friday 09.00am to 2.30pm
