Caddy Group are looking to speak to a part time accounts assitant for one of our clients based in Rochester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash transactions.
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to resolve any invoicing or payment discrepancies.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software�and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
