About the job Part Qualified AccountantWe're a leading chartered accountancy firm, is looking to recruit a part qualified accountant to join their Audit and Accounts team based at their Chelmsford Office.Working to deliver a broad range of audit and accounts services to a range of business clients, this opportunity would suit an individual who is looking to progress their career. The ideal candidate will be part qualified (ACA/ACCA), with at least 2 years practice experience.The main duties of the role are:• Preparation of year end statutory accounts under FRS 102 1A and FRS 102.• Preparation of draft corporation tax computations.• Preparation of monthly or quarterly management accounts, and VAT returns.• Working closely with junior members of staff, helping them develop, mentoring and training them as well as delegating and review their work• Assisting with the audit process including planning, fieldwork and completion.• Audit makes up around 10% of the workload.Key characteristics include strong attention to detail and communication skills, a professional approach to clients and colleagues and a firm commitment to providing top quality client service.On offer for the right candidate is a competitive salary, and the opportunity to progress their career with a fast paced, dynamic firm.The position requires good communication and presentation skills.
