Part II Architectural Assistant
BB Partnership is a medium sized RIBA Chartered Architectural Practice in London. Established in 1991 operating primarily in the residential and commercial sectors in London surrounding area.
We are currently looking for a talented and enthusiastic Part II or recently qualified Architect, to join our team, working on a mixture of residential schemes including one-off high-end houses, multiple unit schemes and co-living schemes.
The successful candidate will have two plus years’ post Part II, excellent technical, communication and organisational skills, and have a proven track record of working on a broad spectrum of projects.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate in their application experience with feasibility studies, concept design, planning applications and crucially, experience in working on detail design packages for existing buildings and structures. An eye for detail, self-motivation and excellent graphic skills are essential.
The successful candidates will be confident, friendly and efficient and be enthusiastic about working as part of a team and happy to assist wherever required.
Skills Required
Knowledge and experience in the UK Residential sector
Revit and AutoCAD experience on live projects within the UK
An understanding of the UK Building Regulations and the UK Planning framework
Personal motivation and discipline to work independently as well as within a team environment
Excellent design skills to deliver high quality design, across a variety of scales and in complex urban and green belt settings
Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
A good technical mind and an eye for detail
Excellent English, both written and verbal + eligible to work in the UK
3D modelling experience (SketchUp)
Working closely with consultants, contractors, specialists and suppliers
Strong organisational skills, meeting deadlines and projects needs
Great communication skills both in the studio and in meetings
