Part II Architectural Assistant

A leading, West London based architectural practice, synonymous with stunning, prime and super prime bespoke homes has a vacancy for a Part II Architectural Assistant.  Project values can typically range from £5M to £45M.  Many are in London but they do attract projects overseas too.
Working closely with a Project Architect or Director, you will be generally responsible for taking projects from the design concept and producing technical drawing packages for construction.  In the main, you will be working on existing buildings but they do also attract new build projects.  Frequently you will be working on listed buildings or projects in a conservation area, and they may include basement extensions, swimming pools, spas, home cinemas and other luxury amenities associated with the prime residential market.  The practice uses AutoCAD.  The ideal candidate will have experience working on similar high-end / luxury residential projects although someone proficient with AutoCAD and with a strong technical (RIBA Stage 4) knowledge, ideally in residential construction will be seriously considered, as long as you have an interest in working in this niche but exciting sector.
