Salisbury City Council has an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join our friendly Parks team, providing support to the Estates Manager, assisting with day-to-day operations within the Parks Department
The Role
This role would suit someone who is willing to work both in the office and outdoors, with good communication skills and excellent administration experience.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the Councils tree stock
Manage allotments
Inspect the citys parks and green spaces
Contribute to risk assessments for outdoor spaces
Work with contractors and our grounds team to oversee maintenance and repairs
Willingness to work in all weathers
Liaise with volunteer groups
Skills and Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office and excel in building meaningful working relationships through strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Have the ability to thrive within a team while effectively prioritising and adapting to a dynamic workload sets you apart.
Must enjoy a job that involves office work and the great outdoors.
Experience working on digital database systems
Experience using outlook, word and excel
Good communication skills
