Salary £40,000

We are recruiting for one of our fast growing and successful businesses based in the city of London. Due to continued increase in business, they are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join their adviser support team to work along a chartered financial planner to provide high quality advice for the end client.

This is a full time Paraplanner role based out of their offices situated in Cannon Street, London. This would suit someone that lives in or around the city, someone who wants to continue their career in paraplanning or someone just starting out.

You should have / should be

* 2 - 5 years’ experience or more in the Financial Services industry in a financial advice business

* Understand the financial advice and end client relationship and journey

* Experience in a financial adviser support role

* Full Level 4 Diploma qualified or working towards Diploma level currently

* Sound knowledge of of the Financial services market and products such as core products, tax wrappers, UK tax regime, fund management

* String background in client and product administration

* String communications skills

* IT literate including the ability to use Email, Word, Excel, CRM system, Platforms

* Strong work ethic

* String personal organisational skills

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

* Provide technical, research and administrative support to the Planner to develop suitable client recommendations.

* Produce all relevant paperwork and regulatory requirements for the Planner to present potential solutions to clients.

* Produce compliant and detailed Client Suitability Reports

* Assist in the management of client relationships including receiving client phone calls and providing information of a technical nature if requested.

* Produce regular client portfolio reviews, technical and industry updates with relevant additional commentary to support the client proposition.

* Liaise on a proactive basis with the Planner on a regular and structured basis to

* work on cases and provide updates.

Key responsibilities include

Contacting prospects or clients to.

* Arrange meetings and update current information

* Answer general questions about financial planning or technical elements of the clients arrangements

* Gather necessary information from client so that a financial analysis can be completed

* Buy and Sell down funds on platform.

Prepare summaries of

* the client’s goals and objectives

* the client’s present situation

* the effect of their current arrangements on future circumstances using relevant financial planning tools

Additional Responsibilities

* Process new business applications, establish and maintain OWS/Concert and Platform records for new clients.

* Provide efficient resolution to client queries and ensure clients receive effective communication regarding case processing.

* Manage proactive client communications ensuring the practice delivers service requirements in line with the Practice client proposition.

* Compliance - understand and adhere to the practice and Openwork’s systems and regulatory requirements and, where appropriate, comply with all relevant regulatory policies. This includes completion of any mandatory training requirements.
