Job Description
Fram are delighted to be working with a Leeds based IFA who are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their paraplanning team. This role is due to one of the current Paraplanners moving to a trainee advisor role. You will be supporting a team of circa 7 financial advisors in a pooled environment, as well as working with a team of administrators. This is a technical role that involves researching products and making the necessary amendments to templated suitability reports.
Responsibilities include :
Check and complete paperwork from administration team.
Discuss client objective with advisor.
Undertake research for client solutions.
Prepare report recommendations for advisor.
Prepare suitability letters.
Make recommended changes to client’s investment as intrusted by advisor.
The ideal candidate will have level 4, however our client is open to talking to someone with paraplanning experience who is working towards level 4. Applicants must have financial services experience, a working knowledge of pensions, investment, and tax planning. A background in paraplanning/ report writing is essential. Our client offers - basic salary, half yearly discretionary bonus, 25 days holiday plus birthday off and additional days for Christmas, Pension, Bupa and 4 x DIS.
