This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours. The job:To provide paralegal support to the Information Governance Team in dealing with Freedom of Information requests, Environmental Information requests, Data Protection Subject Access Requests and all related aspectsTo provide paralegal support to the Planning and Litigation team within Legal ServicesTo carry out legal or quasi-legal tasks that may from time to time be allocated by the Team Leader and/or Legal Services ManagerTo deal with administrative matters as may from time to time be required by the Team LeaderTo ensure that service delivery complies with current regulations, accepted professional standards and the organisation's policiesThe candidate:At least 2 years of similar experience, or a CILEx Paralegal Level 3SQE 1 passed and SQE 2 working towards or CILEX Advanced Paralegal qualificationPrevious experience in a similar role within the public sector is preferredPlease note: there will be no on-site parking providedPlease submit your application via the contact details provided and you will be contacted with further information about this opportunity or email your CV to me directly; or call me on; (phone number removed)
