We are working with a professional client in Hertford Town Centre whom is looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join their team, to assist the delivery of professional legal support services in line with business objectives and to facilitate the delivery of a high-quality service to all clients.

Role & Responsibility

� Opening and maintaining case files on internal databases in accordance with case

management standards and ensuring approved service level agreements are met for legal processing.

� Conducting legal research

� Analysing and summarising documents for reporting and advisory purposes

� Assisting with the drafting, filing and service of correspondence, court forms and all other legal documents, pleadings

� Participating in meetings and attending conferences to discuss the progress of a matter or matters

� Liaising with clients to obtain instructions, leading consultations to support the drafting of statements and pleadings, providing advice as merits and proposed case management strategy, providing updates as to progress

� Handling and organisation of documents and preparing them for review and/or case preparation where necessary.

� Liaising with third parties including Defendants, opposing counsel, lenders, Courts and Tribunals where necessary to discuss case matters and aid progress

� Accurately record any chargeable time spent for billing purposes and liaising with accounts where necessary.

� Drafting and issuing of pre-approved instructions to third parties including counsel, bailiffs, locksmiths in accordance with client instructions

� Assisting with the preparing and delivery of case reports when required

� To undertake other duties commensurate to the post as directed by the according line manager.
