Our Housing Team in Leeds are looking for a Paralegal to join them in their busy and expanding team. The primary purpose of this role will be to support the team with the delivery of private and social housing developments. You will manage your own caseload of non-contentious property matters under the supervision of a Partner, and assist the wider team with larger transactions. This will include working on site acquisitions, developments and disposals (and supporting the due diligence and reporting that entails). You will be involved with the preparation of engrossments of legal documents for execution; dealing with post-completion formalities and will be responsible for Land Registry applications and submitting SDLT returns.It is essential that you possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will be liaising with clients and third parties, responding to any queries as appropriate. We're ideally looking for someone who has some experience of working within Housing or Housing Development. You should also be adept at working to timescales with efficient organisational skills. The role is suitable for hybrid working.
