Paralegal - English & Welsh Law - Edinburgh

One of our clients is looking for a Paralegal to join their Land & Property team, based in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will have experience from working on English and Welsh transactions. To be experienced in working as a residential paralegal in the jurisdiction of England and/or Wales will be of an advantage. The role entails the individual being able to deal with the entire sale, purchase and security process in a residential property transaction. The successful candidate will be a strong team player with sound practical property experience and enthusiasm to develop your technical skills and legal career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Being able to prioritise and manage projects from inception to completion, with attention to detail is key. The is a permanent role and is principallybased in our clients Edinburgh office,but the role supports a hybrid working approach. This role involves:
Residential (and some rural) Conveyancing. Negotiating contracts. Examining title and reporting to clients. Raising any title enquiries. Drafting transfer and other Registry forms. Preparing security documents and drawing down loan funds. Preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax Returns. Processing Land Registry registrations and dealing with post completion queries.
