Paralegal - Dispute Resolution

We have an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal to join our Dispute Resolution team.The Dispute Resolution work is varied due to the nature of its client base. The successful candidate will be actively involved in contentious and non-contentious construction matters, including framing, reviewing and revising contract and associated documents; and framing claims, defences and documents in dispute matters. They will do so in conjunction with colleagues from the wider firm, including our Property teams and the Energy and Strategic Land team.The successful candidate will also undertake a work in the resolution a variety of other disputes handled by the Dispute Resolution Team, within which the Construction Team sits.The role offers great scope for learning and development as it brings exposure to a complex and high value caseload within a collegiate and collaborative team.Candidates will possess a desire to actively contribute to the development of our successful and forward-thinking team. They will be confident in working independently and running their own caseload, but also be willing and able to work with other members of the team on larger or more complex cases. They will contribute to the financial success of the team and the firm by meeting agreed targets. Candidates will be expected to contribute to business development and marketing strategies.Applications are invited from candidates with the relevant skillset. Specific construction experience will be desirable and experience in general Dispute Resolution matters will also be helpful.
