Job Title: Panel Wirer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Wirer to join our dynamic team. As a Panel Wirer, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical control panels used in various industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  1. Panel Assembly: Assemble electrical control panels according to engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

  3. Component Mounting: Mount and secure electrical components such as switches, circuit breakers, relays, and other devices within the panels.

  4. Testing: Conduct basic functional tests on completed panels to ensure proper wiring and functionality.

  5. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve wiring issues or discrepancies during the assembly process.

  6. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of panel wiring, including labeling and documentation of connections for future reference.

  7. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets quality standards and complies with relevant safety regulations.

  8. Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and production teams to understand project requirements and provide input on design improvements.

  9. Tools and Equipment: Properly use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment required for panel wiring tasks.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Proven experience as a Panel Wirer or similar role in an industrial setting.

    • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
    • Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
    • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to electrical installations.
  3. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in panel assembly and wiring.
