The company
A leading manufacturing business, specialising in the design, manufacture, and distribution of high-performance power equipment. Providing critical solutions across a variety of sectors including marine, oil, renewable gas, etc. Due to an increase in demand from key customers, the business is now seeking a panel wireman to join the team at their Burton based facility.

The role
Now looking for a panel wireman to join their production team, to be responsible for wiring electrical panels and transformer units on a variety of power equipment.

You will take responsibility for:

• Panel Wiring to schematic diagrams and design layouts
• Conducting basic electrical fault-finding
• Assembling of a range of electrical and mechanical components and devices
• Ensuring high standards of quality and safety, and adhering to JSAs and SOPs
• Completing daily production logs and reports
• Maintaining production, quality and ISO9000 standards at all times

What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:

• Ideally minimum 3 years of practical experience as a panel wirer
• Proficiency in reading and working from schematic diagrams.
• Ability to operate machinery and perform wiring tasks.
• Good problem solving and communication skills.

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

• Experience in maintaining and fault-finding.
