Join our client’s team in Livingston for a rewarding career as a Panel Beater! Our client are one of the UK’s largest premium quality used car supermarkets, with operations throughout the country.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Within the panel beater role, you will be responsible for the below tasks:

• Realignment.

• Stripping and refitting of vehicle parts and panels.


• Mechanical and electrical trimming.


• Panel replacement, removing damaged panels and fitting new panels.


• Filler to repair damaged body panels (Some of these will be bigger job on high top, LWB vans).


• C & D Posts (No jig work).


• Finishing the repair in a way that matches the rest of the bodywork.

What kind of person we are looking for?

• You will need previous experience of working within an automotive bodyshop as a Panel Beater and understand vehicle repair methods.


• Be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of all aspects of vehicle repairs.


• Ability to strip and re-fit all makes of cars.


• Ability to pull and dress panels in preparation for filler work.


• Ability to rectify all sizes of repairs.


• Ability to work with different materials e.g. plastics and metals


• You will require your own tools i.e., hammers, blocks.


• You will need to work efficiently but to a high standard.
