Paint Shop Operative

We've got a large manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk who are in need of a paint shop operative to start immediately!
Our client will consider someone without paint shop experience however having a counterbalance forklift license would be highly beneficial and could command the higher rates of pay.
The starting salary for the position would be �11.44 however there is the opportunity to earn �12.20ph with the right skills and experience.
Paint Shop Operative Duties include: -

• Mixing paints & colour matching
• All prep work, prior to spraying, shot blasting etc.
• Responsible for ensuring the maintenance & repair of equipment, i.e., changing filters
• Make sure the production schedule is followed

You will need your own mode of transport due to the remote location of the company.
This role is a standard working week 08:00 17:00 Monday to Friday
