Paint Maintenance Engineer

Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Permanent Paint Maintenance Engineer, working for a client located in Pickering. The post holder will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of Paint Plants and related equipment, as well as assisting with site maintenance, planned and reactive.

Paint Maintenance Engineer Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance work (breakdowns or line stops).
• Delivering all operational mechanical and electrical support on plant.
• Conducting fault diagnosis, breakdown cover and equipment installation.
• Health & Safety mandatory checks.

Paint Maintenance Engineer Applicants:

• Good communication skills both verbal and written and should be able to adapt between working part of a team but able to manage their own workload independently when required.
• IPAF/FLT license preferred, however can also be trained to standard if necessary.
• Health & Safety Environmental Awareness (preferred).
• Ability to use initiative and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Takes pride in delivering first-class results.
• Has a practical approach to problem solving.
• Shows initiative and supports change implementation.

Hourly rate of �17.57 to �19.13, depending on experience. Working a 3-shift pattern:

• Days - Wednesday to Friday 7.50am - 8pm
• Nights - Monday to Wednesday 7.50pm - 8am
• Split Shift - Monday & Tuesday 7.50am - 8pm / Thursday & Friday 7.50pm - 8am
