The Senior Search / Paid Search Marketing Executive is responsible for driving forward our PPC activity through strategic and tactical development of the paid search channel. With a multi-million pound budget, the Senior Search Marketing Executive will play a vital role in delivering against significant annual revenue and newcomer growth targets.





The key objective of the role is to manage, report on and improve the performance and effectiveness of the paid search channel through strategic planning and tactical optimisation in line with our digital, marketing and campaign strategies.







Key responsibilities;




  • Manage Paid Search / PPC Campaigns.

  • You will be required to create and deliver a paid search plan holistically aligned to wider acquisition plans and business priorities supporting growth ambitions through strategic paid search targeting and execution.






  • Tactical optimisation of paid search accounts and performance in line with industry best practice, driving incremental and high-quality paid search traffic to the site while responding to issues and opportunities.






  • Refinement of account build and features, including ad extensions, keyword targeting and negation, etc.






  • Strategic utilisation of audience features such as RLSAs, Customer Match for CRM data and Similar Audiences.






  • Liaising with Google and Microsoft contacts to identify and leverage opportunities, including new beta trials.






  • Providing comprehensive knowledge of the channel and performance through weekly and monthly reporting, both in writing and person.






  • Implementation of tactical opportunities to support business trading priorities.





Essential skills required;








  • 2 - 4 years Paid Search / PPC experience

  • Google and Microsoft Ads expert

  • A strategic thinker capable of creating and delivering against strategic plans

  • A thorough understanding of the digital media landscape and ability to analyse data to identify trends, draw conclusions, make recommendations and take action based on insight

  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills

  • Ability to construct well-written brand copy, including ads and extensions, in adherence with clear brand guidelines

  • Computer and digital proficient

  • Excellent time management, productivity and prioritisation

  • Ability to produce reports and analysis using statistical data

  • Numerical with competency in understanding budgets and targets

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, vlookups and graphs

  • Acute attention to detail, particularly concerning data, grammar and presentation of information

  • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and able to create clear, accurate and professional slide decks

  • Knowledge of and experience in SEO and the organic search landscape

  • Technical understanding of website build and development processes
