What will my day look like?As our paid media manager, you will be a key player in our digital marketing team, supporting all aspects of digital marketing from a paid media perspective. You will need to be confident working directly with clients, have strong technical paid social and paid search knowledge and be able to provide and implement creative advertising strategies.We will provide full training on our agile approach, quality management and wider working practices.You will be working in the Paid Media team, reporting to the Paid Media lead and will be responsible for crafting and implementing paid media strategies, managing advertising (primarily paid social across Meta, Pinterest & TikTok and paid search Google and Microsoft Ads for Search) accounts for some of the agency’s key clients.Our client mix is broad and covers e-commerce, lead generation, luxury, B2B and charities among other industries to keep your days varied. This role is ideal for anyone who is looking to broaden their experience in paid media with progression opportunities in either greater technical specialism and/or line management. You will work alongside the existing team to activate and manage campaigns, forecast KPIs and help to grow the agency’s client base and the paid media team. Our paid media media manager will: Build great working relationships with clients in order to create paid advertising strategies that deliver tangible and stable results for clients’ KPIs. Managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously, prioritising and utilising time effectively. Have a minimum of 2 years of experience delivering paid media campaigns for clients. Be confident in reporting on both forecasts and weekly/monthly performance and presenting the findings to clients. Work closely with the wider marketing team, across SEO, Content, Email and Digital Analytics to offer the best value combination of our services whilst supporting and training junior members of the team. You’ll also report to Account Managers/Project Leads for client deliverables. Help to continually improve our advertising service offering for the agency - maintaining an awareness of competitor offerings for paid media and ensuring that we are adapting and improving to be relevant in the market. Have experience in managing multiple advertising platforms and multiple clients as part of the digital advertising delivery for a single client. Perform the full suite of paid media tasks: assisting with setting the advertising strategy, crafting new campaigns, suggesting new creative, writing ad copy, advising clients on how to improve their performance and regular optimisation. Have great analytical skills and be confident working with data (first party and GA4) to find insights and manage advertising accounts effectively. Have a commercial understanding of the agency model and how advertising accounts can deliver a positive ROI to clients. Key skills & qualities An excellent communicator - comfortable explaining advertising best practices and strategy, in a simple, non-technical way to a variety of audiences. Able to translate performance reports and other research into actionable and priority insights. Experienced working across both the creative and analytical aspects of paid media to assist the wider paid media team. Confident in the analysis and reporting of paid media data, using tools including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Looker Studio. Confident in contributing to pitch decks to win new clients for the agency.Not essential but desirable: Experience in delivering paid search campaigns would be highly desirable. Proven experience of delivering excellent results for customers, with demonstrable ROI from past projects. Experience with forecasting performance for clients & pitches. Interest/knowledge of Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH), Programmatic, Audio, and Marketplace advertising. Knowledge or interest in affiliate marketing.
Confident in pitching to prospective clients. Knowledge of creative best practices and/or briefing designers. Experience with Conversions API/server-side tracking options. Knowledge of attribution models to analyse performance. Experienced working with Magento, Umbraco & Drupal websites.
