This company is on the brink of launching a state-of-the-art factory, set to be operational by early 2025. This innovative site will be a hub for manufacturing a diverse range of food products, including Sandwiches, Dips, Deli items, Olives, Ready Meals, Prepared Fruit & Veg, and Juices. Located in a bustling area committed to quality and innovation, this facility promises to be a landmark in the food manufacturing industry.
They’ve come to us for support in finding a talented Packaging Technologist / Packaging Manager who’ll play a crucial role in their journey from concept to shelf. This is a newly created position and a chance for the successful applicant to have an impact. You’ll develop new packaging solutions for their chilled foods segment, ensuring packaging is functional, enhances shelf life, meets sustainability standards, and remains cost-effective. You’ll collaborate with R&D, Procurement, and Operations to drive cost-saving initiatives through innovative material development. Experience in Process Development would be a bonus as you’ll be supporting the NPD team by transitioning projects for factory trials and liaising with suppliers for any necessary adjustments post-trials.
We’re pretty open to the background, you could be a Packaging Technologist with a few years behind you, or an established Packaging Manager that is still willing to get their hands dirty!
