Overview

Due to continuous growth, their display division is offering an exciting opportunity for a cardboard engineer join our award-winning team.

They design semi-permanent displays and packaging concepts for well-loved global and high-street brands, specialising in the health and beauty sector. They develop innovative and eye-catching displays which are cost-effective and comply with brand and retailer guidelines.

They are looking for candidates with experience in engineering software such as ArtiosCAD or AutoCAD. The successful candidate will be working collaboratively alongside 3D designers, graphic designers, engineers and project managers.

Key responsibilities will include:

Generating award-winning cardboard engineering cutter guides

Weight-testing and experimentation with new structures

Tackling a range of briefs from simple shelf trays to complex free-standing displays and events sites

Pushing the boundaries of the possible and challenging convention

80 % POS and 20% Packaging work

Essential skills:

Previous experience of ArtiosCAD, or similar software ie. AutoCAD, Kasemake etc

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes

Awareness of value engineering and how to develop manufacturing efficiencies

Excellent communication skills

Ability to liaise with designers and sales teams to ensure designs adhere to client specification and retail guidelines

Being comfortable working in a fast-paced studio environment

Ability to pivot from job to job with ease
