OverviewWe are looking for a new Packaging Manager to join the Signature Brew Crew! Everyone’s opinions are valued, we celebrate diversity and treat each other honestly and respectfully. Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Coordinating and managing the packaging teamAdherence to SALSA, COSHH, HACCP and H&S within the team and associated areasTaking part in all packaging tasks including canning/kegging/racking casks/housekeepingEnsuring products meet spec requirements including can seams, carbonation and DO/TPOCoordinating and working shifts and rotas to meet production demandManaging annual leave/sickness/absence and conducting staff reviewsMaintaining SOPs and delivering training as requiredRegular & efficient communication with the sales & operations teamPackaging stock management and relationship maintenance with suppliersAttendance at weekly managers’ meetings and providing weekly packaging updates to the companyOccasional attendance at beer festivals/collaborations/events on behalf of Signature BrewWillingness to lend a hand in other departments when necessaryDesirable experience:2 years experience managing a packaging team at a production brewery3 years experience operating a canning line and keggerAn engineering background, mechanical or electricalGood knowledge of the brewing process and previous cellar experienceAn IBD qualification or equivalentPhysically fit and able to undertake manual tasksValid forklift licenceGood IT skills including Google Sheets, Docs etcWhat we offerSalary - £32,000 to £36,000 (depending on experience)Three month induction and training programEntitlement to the SB Staff Rewards Programme including free draught beer, counselling & wellbeing provision, hardship fund and festival and gig ticketsShare Incentive SchemePlease apply for the role using the form belowClosing date - 10th May 2024
