The Group’s Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef, and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland.
Applications are invited for the above position to work as part of our Marketing team. This role could be based at any of our Foodservice & Consumer Foods sites.
The Role
The role will be responsible for managing and executing packaging projects and developments collaboratively across the Foodservice & Consumer Foods Division. This packaging role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of all branded and customer own label packaging projects across UK, International & Consumer Foods Ireland lines of business.
This role will play a key part in the collaborative ongoing growth of the Packaging & Marketing functions.
The Person
The role requires a candidate to be qualified to degree level or equivalent. Although not necessary, a degree-level education in business, food and drink or packaging development will be considered advantageous.
It is essential for the successful candidate to have experience in a fast-moving FMCG, Retail, Foodservice or Manufacturing Environment. This will include relevant experience in packaging development, artwork origination approval process and experience of international multi-lingual development and approval. Although not essential, exemplified experience in packaging supply base, with full knowledge of reprographics, corrugate/ carton print, and awareness of regulatory and pack-aging sustainable initiatives will be desirable.
It is essential that the candidate has project management experience skills along with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and build relationships as part of a team. They must have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to recognise the need for processes/priorities and establishing right course of action as well as ability to adapt to changing needs of a dynamic growth environment is essential for this role. It would be advantageous if the candidate had experience in working with a high level of degree of fluidity, ambiguity based on customer / business requirements.
Candidate must be open to change and motivated by fast paced environments. They will be a proactive self-starter and collaborator who is prepared to travel to Northern Ireland, Island of Ireland as candidates should be prepared to travel to Northern Ireland and Island of Ireland & other customer markets as required.
