This is a key role withine one of our packaging clients. The Packaging Coordinator is expected to be a project leader and be heavily involved in major projectsrelated to printed packaging e.g. acquisitions, production site transfers etc.The Packaging Coordinator is responsible for the development and control of printed packaging materials (PPM) for new product entities and changes to current PPM. The Packaging Coordinator is responsible for improvements in current printed packaging processes as well as support for manufacturing. A keen understanding of OSSCE (Operational Standards for Supply Chain Excellence) concepts and supply chain management is needed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Liaison with regulatory, purchasing, suppliers, and manufacturing2. Packaging change control management – Manages implementation projects for printed packaging from regulatory request through to packaging being available in production3. Own, initiate and manage PPM change controls using an electronic change control tool4. Identify opportunities to improve cost, cycle time, and compliance5. Participate in the identification and selection of new packaging suppliers6. Site owner for all printed packaging components and any related issues7. Understand and apply printed packaging requirements and regulations8. Understand and assist in the implementation of the Global Quality Standards9. Performs investigations for deviations10. Lead investigations on packaging complaints11. Assist in improvement of safe working conditions by identifying hazardous processes or conditions12. Manages improvement projects for printed packaging13. Metrics reporting with action plans for improvement14. Participate in supplier audits15.
