You will get the chance to:
As the Packaging Category Manager, you’ll oversee sourcing for the entire division and managing a team of Buyers. Your role involves driving cost reductions, value engineering, and cash-flow improvement aligned with company objectives. You’ll develop best-in-class sourcing strategies, manage risks, and collaborate with stakeholders for business continuity and innovation. Building strong supplier relationships and ensuring governance compliance are key aspects of the role.
What you’ll need:
– Proven experience in sourcing packaging as well as overall procurement experience in a senior buying position with direct portfolio responsibility
– Knowledge and experience of world-class category management and best practices
– Team management experience
– Food/beverage manufacturing background
We can offer you:
– £70,000 to £75,000
– £6,100 car allowance
– Bonus (TBC)
– Pension matched up to 10%
– 25 days + 8
Working Setup:
Hybrid working,
Circa in the office x1 per week or x2 every 2 weeks, the majority working from home.
The site location is in the East of England/East Anglia.
