This innovative and rapidly growing clothing business, supplying some of the key players on the Uk High Street, are looking for a activewear & outerwear designer who will have the flexibility to work remotely from home and be part of a collaborative culture and dynamic team.

You will be an organised, dynamic and forward thinking designer, who can actively develop product development, with occasional international travel. 

Outerwear & Activewear Designer - The Role:-

• Collaborate with teams offshore on developing customer specific seasonal ranges


• Analysing market trends and offering newness and innovation


• Guide teams in creating latest designs, mood boards, swatches and collections. 


• Develop trend and mood and colour vision boards, including fabric and trims.


• Analyse catwalks and competitors, report and spot missed opportunities.


• Develop commercial, brand appropriate ranges


• Produce clear, detailed tech packs and specs for overseas factories.


• Build relationships with overseas offices and factories

 Outerwear & Activewear Designer - The Candidate:-

• Degree in Fashion / Textile design 


• Experience in design and product development 


•  Proven experience working within design for sports, activewear or fashion.


• Ability to design your own basic prints / graphics on occasion is desirable.


• Confident presenting at all levels.


• Strong garment technical and fabric performance knowledge


• Commercial awareness and being up to date with current trends.


• Excellent CAD skills
