We’re looking for a dynamic, motivated, outdoor-enthusiast to join our fantastic team of Outdoor Participation Advisors. The job title is a bit of a mouthful, but it’s worth the effort to join our specialist service. Working with some of Hampshire’s most vulnerable young people, we provide 1-1 and small group intervention work focusing on social support and finding a love for the outdoors. A ‘typical day’ doesn’t really exist, but your sessions may be anything from wild art, beach walks and mindfulness to mountain biking, bushcraft and DofE expeditions. While an interest in adventure will work in your favour, we’re not looking for Ray Mears, as we support our staff through the relevant outdoor awards. Our current team is a diverse and energetic mix, with experiences in teaching, employment support, activity instructors, youth work - and a token microbiologist. To grow our offer and our impact, we’re looking to hire an empathetic, flexible team player with a love of the outdoors and working with the young people who need our support the most. Check out the details here
or for more information, contact Sara Mela, Team Coordinator, for an informal discussion (##### , 07745209637).”
